Ian!!
You have a lot more patience than I do mate. I admire your energy and spirit in taking on this refurbishment and upgrade to the original car. I wish I was young enough to embark on a project like this. But I'm not. So you will have to put up with me turning up occasionally to help out with the Magnette :)

Ian/Steve
Thanks for taking the time to walk through your project with me yesterday. New to all this, you now have me hooked and very interested in your project and the sport.
I will definitly become an associate member and look forward to watching the project grow. We will have to talk more in the future....
Best regards
Paul

Still waiting for the engine to power my Bay. Hope to get 10 seconds out of it at Santa Pod.....what do you think? Oh by the way the photos are great! Cant wait to see its first run down a strip somewhere................
I would like to have seen more of the 50s MG retained as though you had plugged the airline into it and inflated the whole of the body ,looking at where you have the lump it looks too far forward to me,Having said that it's your coupe (very nov val design) looks nice from the A pillars back.....Happy Smokin.....

I applaud the insanity of converting a Magnette from a 4 door to a 2 door coupe and adding massive V8 power. I would opine that the car would look more the part if you could change the flip front end to use a more Magnette looking grille. The current front end looks rather like a Jowett Jupiter to me. Otherwise, I look forward to seeing your first video of the beast in action.
